biographie : It all started in a store room, a drink and a bit of time. Three minds give life to the Agents of time. A real fusion of ideas and concepts that make up a single reality. Together they develop a rare style characterized by particular and refined sounds, contaminated by their own electronic mood, a major common interest. A rather suggestive experience through which it's easy to get carried away without noticing the uncontrollable time that flows and that doesn't find obstacles in front of itself.
Andrea Di Ceglie, Fedele Ladisa and Luigi Tutolo are the Agents Of Time. The italian trio started this ambitious project in July 2013.
The debut album will be released on the british label, Stem Records, in January 2014.
Their innovative sound, characterized by the fusion of strong elements that are electronic, progressive, techno and ambient, allows to relate with any kind of dancefloor.
Their live performance, distinguished by an evident visual and choreografic attention, is advantaged by the use of analogic instruments that make the product unique in its genre.
The meticulous care of details is the background of a performance which is always unpredictable and never taken for granted, making the Agents Of Time an innovative and polyhedric group.

Biographie: The name Baikal comes from the words ‘Bai Kyul’, which translates as ‘rich lake’. Lake Baikal is the most voluminous freshwater lake in the world, containing roughly 20% of the world’s unfrozen surface fresh water, and at 1,642m, the deepest.
Baikal’s existence lies in the idea that the music itself, the abstract experience and the emotions it provokes should tell enough of a story to entertain you as the listener, and that the persona behind the artist is of lesser importance.

Ben Klock is a German techno DJ and producer who has released on labels such as BPitch Control, Ostgut Ton. He runs his own label Klockworks and often spins at the Berghain in Berlin.
Berlin born DJ, producer and label owner Ben Klock is without a doubt one of the most significant characters in techno’s recent history. A resident at Berghain since its opening in 2004, he has been able to leave his mark on the club’s unique sound, in turn the special space influenced Klock’s approach as a DJ and producer as well.
Playing techno sets full of hypnotic, deep and heavy grooves, releasing records on Ostgut Ton and last but not least the aesthetics of his own label Klockworks (founded in 2006), have earned him an excellent international reputation over the last few years. Supported by stringent and enthralling tracks, remixes for such diverse artists as Kerri Chandler, Martyn or Depeche Mode, the revered debut album “One” on Ostgut Ton and his Berghain mix, Ben Klock’s name is synonymous with the vitalization of an essential definition of techno.
His music is free of crippling nostalgia and rather wins you over with consistency, tension, and dynamics and time and time again with a sensibility, one would usually expect from house music. In this vein, Klock pursues an unexacting fusion of quantum jumps and tradition – including effortless melodies or hook lines. Being able to harmonize this method of industrial austerity, natural musicality and an impressive physicality is Ben Klock’s great art and skill.
And of course his monthly marathon sets at Berghain that escort all what’s being said with pure sound and consistently motivate Ben Klock to skip the trapdoor called routine.

Biographie: “Clockwork isn’t really something that was thought through, it went thruogh actually no stages of planning whatsoever”.
Francesco Leali and Federico Maccherone AKA Clockwork. A project born in early 2010 but only officially launched on February 2011 with the release of their debut Ep “It’s You Again” on Hot Creations, that unexpectedly gave them the chance to work and perform with some of the most experienced, inspiring and valuable members and events of the Electronic music scene today.
There debut has seen them play and produce a dark, funky breed of disco which noticeably got deeper and deeper in mood trying to combine those sounds to a more techno oriented peice of work. Their recent and unreleased work such as: a No.19 EP for Jonny White’s prestigious label, Ali Love’s Different Morals remix on Southern Fried Records, Dj T’s Get Physical remix and their remix for Avatism on Souvenir Records has demonstrated musical versatility and innovation aiming to reach and explore new grounds pushing the boundaries further and further each time.
Being a young duo who which just set off there isn’t much we can say about them, but we can certainly say that good things are ahead of them and we’ll just have to let the music speak for itself.

Daniel Bortz

Played at Studio Saglio, Strasbourg 25/12/2015

Biography : It was the mid-‘90s, the heyday of techno in Munich- Riem, home to the Optimal and other legendary clubs, when Daniel Bortz stepped into the never-ending, untiring loop of the stoically pumping bass drum. He was born in Berlin in 1981, but shortly thereafter his family moved to Bavaria, where he grew up. For the last 13 years he has been forging his deep beats, grooves and tracks for the club world from his base of operations in Augsburg. And it‘s precisely that club world that Bortz has been gracing with his releases for quite some time now, aiming right for its hypecravingg-spot. He got his training as a producer with the Munich label Pastamusik with whom he released his first recording 2007. Since then, he‘s been refining his sound between crate digging, house-nostalgia, dancefloor- transfer, sample insanity and a healthy dose of eclecticism.
Be it '80s new wave, '90s West Coast Hip Hop, Disco or Dance mania, Daniel Bortz brings things together that aren‘t bound up with realness and street credibility; he fuses his own world of sound for today‘s dance floor, and part of that is bootlegs – dangerously thin ice for a music producer’s reputation.
Daniel Bortz has an infallible knack for reducing things down to the nitty-gritty; to constantly limit elements to their bare minimum, even if nowadays "minimal" is considered an absolute no-no. But none of that bothers the Augsburg musician much; he is just as aware of his special status in the close-knit Bavarian scene as he is of the sceptical gloom-and-doom prophecies of Berlin’s music buffs.

Played at Studio Saglio, Strasbourg 24/09/2011

Biographie: Four albums, fourty 12inch vinyl, about thirty remixes, dynamite live performances on stages all over the world, David Carretta is one of the most influent artist on the electro scene since 17 years. Appeared as an incredible show man, showing a strong sexual image, full of humour and derision, inventing a manly kitsch and uninhibited character, somewhere between Giorgio Moroder and a porn actor of the 70?s, he's the French man with a mustache. "First there was a beat" At the age of seven David was already building drums out of plastic cans, was proud of his first plastic guitar and was performing playbacks with wooden microphone. After being up to no good for 10 years and integrating the work forces before he got in trouble, he abandoned his dreams of drums, found a drum machine, and started a band with a friend equally fond of electro music in the not so exiting town of Tarbes, in the mist of the rather dark 80?S. Art Kinder Industry, their code name, goes from industrial music, new wave to EBM. ?We played wearing military suits and gaz masks. We made our own teeshirts, we had four compositions worth it in 88, but it was hard to find a label in those days?. During four years, David and his buddy toured in the south of France christening their explosive live performance on themes such as nuclear weapon or the Middle East conflict. All this before the raves and techno could show their massive beats. "Awaken by the raves" The beginning of techno music in France hit the young Carretta hard. Already drawn by New Beat and Acid House, his musical tastes evolved toward heavier sound, with the influence of spontanious parties, of psychotropic substances and listening to emblematic pieces from ?Underground Resistance, Hardfloor, Resistance D, or Lunatic Asylum?. In 1993, David printed his first record with the mythical and ultra hype german label at the time Harthouse, under the hypnotic name Calyptol Inhalant. ?It was Sven Vath?s label! In France, my music interested very few, my sound was more German so it is there that I sent my first pieces?. Germany definitly adopted him when he met with DJ Hell in a tour organized by a friend in 1995. He founded International Deejay Gigolos after listening to Carretta?s title ?Innerwood? aka the legend. This guy from Marseille will be the very first reference of the exiting Gigolo story ?I had really found the right label? "Transition" After a few all consuming 12? vinyl, David went into higher gear, in 1999, with his first electro atypical album, ?Le Catalogue Electronique?. He was inspired by the sounds heard during his adolescence, which he had left aside, with the influence of techno and had fun piling up references, from Divine to Gainsbourg as well as Plastic Bertrand, to finally reach an electro very ?melting pot? with the collaboration of the ?Chicks On Speed? and ?Electric Indigo?. A big tour followed from Berlin to Chicago through Argentina, Italy, Japan and Russia. In 2001 Carretta released ?Domination EP.? on which can be found the enormous hit ?Vicious Game? which powerfull melody and stubborn vocoder could bring the dead back to life. He signed the rise of a new sound, the sound of ?Kill Your Radio?. ?Kill your Radio?: an anarchic politic punk title for a devastating music, uncompromising, going against the fashion trends ravaging in 2004 when Carretta?s second album is printed. David got back in touch with his original influences: Front 242, Nitzer Ebb, D.A.F and the raw energy generated on the dancefloors. On stage, the discreet producer appeared as an incredible show man, showing a strong sexual image, full of humour, derision and movie enthusiast, inventing a manly kitsch and uninhibited character, somewhere between Giorgio Moroder and a porn actor of the 70?s. The ?mustache? electro had found its emissary. But Carretta is not just a machine creating unbridled hits for BPM seeking dance floors. As early as ?Kill Your Radio? and the start of his own label, Space Factory in 2003 with his wife Gigi Succ?s, his love for hypnotic sounds, space surges and the images of cosmic vintages. It?s this Italo-Disco feeling seam that David currently digs in, with his new album, ?Rodeo Disco?, the dream of a kid crazy about science fiction and analogic synthesizers. After the corrida of the Gigolo years, this interstellar journey invites us on a rodeo tamer at first look, but emotional, a discoidal ballad through space, where you can meet Kraftwerk?s robots and the cosmonauts from the ?Magic Fly? video by Space. ?Rodeo Disco? could be the original soundtrack of an imaginary movie, fantastic rather than western, which would borrow the best of 2001 Space odyssey, Cosmos 1999, of Carpenter and an erotic Giallo of underground movie. So no one should forget the purebred Carretta, and this rodeo as beautiful as a summer night?s starry sky. "Aerobic" The electronic adventure strikes back in 2010 when David start a new project with his wife Gigi Succ?s called ?Aerobic?. This first album called "Peace Hand?, released on Space Factory, takes his roots into New Wave and Italo-Disco with new flavor and actual sound. It could be a mix between synth pop band ?Elli et Jacno? and ?New Order?. The power and the spirit of the end of the 20th century. In 2011 David has remixed gesaffelstein on Turbo Recordings

Biographie : During the last 2 decades he started producing music for theatre, movie soundtracks and TV commercials. His production skills always take inspiration from the psychedelic dark and melancholic sounds of the 60s straight thru to early 2000’s IDM. To name a few influences: Beach Boys, The Who, Talk Talk, Ultravox, XTC, Fugazi, June of 44, Suicide, Radiohead, Godspeed You Black Emperor!, Aphex Twin, Boards of Canada and Plastikman. In 2010, tired of the output of the actual musical scene he decided to collect all of his musical works and, with Thugfucker’s Greg Oreck, to start a new techno and pop label called Life and Death. The name of the label has a specific meaning, inspired by the socratic maieutic process to turn subtle and “dead” elements into a new life and referring to the benefit and hypnotic power of music used in the mesmeric processes for brain therapy.
Tennis is actually based between Miami and Berlin where he also shares the label experience and a studio with Tale of Us / Mind Against and he works incisively hard to keep developing and growing the artists in his Life and Death label, which is conformed of young and inspired musicians like Clockwork, The/Das, Vaal, Dead Heat among others.

Biographie: Then Trouw had asked him to work as the assistant booker. So after half a year in Berlin, Job moved back to Amsterdam to start assisting the bookings at Trouw and to be promoted head booker soon after that. This all changed rapidly after he booked Tale of Us for the very first Life and Death label night in April 2012. Job, being a resident DJ at Trouw now, opened up the night himself and impressed the Life and Death guys with his set.
Soon after this night the Life and Death crew invited Job to play at their party at the Club Der Visionaere (Berlin). In those 24 extraordinary hours of dj-ing and partying a true friendship and mutual respect between Job and the LAD crew was born.In the summer of 2012 Job was offered another job that he couldn’t refuse. Life and Death needed a new label manager and they asked Job for this. Taking on this job would mean he could sign artists he loves and respects to the label plus he could concentrate more on being a full time DJ too.
So Job started the next step in his career and is now fulltime DJ and label manager at Life and Death. He still has his residency at Trouw, where he also has his own party called ‘Drukpers’. At he moment he is also working on music together with fellow artist and friend Barnt. And who knows what else the future holds for the non-traditional Amsterdam grown Job Jobse.

Biographie : The revitalisation of techno and house in recent years has radically transformed the broader spectrum of dance music; rendered anew by a fresh batch of new producers with uninhibited perspectives on the music’s history and its future. Belgian producer Locked Groove is one such deacon of dance music’s next generation; swiftly appropriating and innovating his way through the historical annals of techno and house with true flair and club-ready conviction. Whether flirting with big room, one-strobe-light Berghain techno or visceral deep house – Locked Groove’s rambunctious take on soulful rhythm is wholly unique and versatile. What’s most surprising is that it was only in early 2011 that this 24 year old producer found himself starting to develop his own explosive hybrid of industrial techno and melancholic deep house with rapid pace. Scouted by Scuba for the inclusion of ‘Drowning’ on his recent contribution to the DJ Kick’s series and releases on Hotflush Recordings, Locked Groove has quietly but confidently begun weaving his way into the collective consciousness. This growing anticipation has also seen Locked Groove sign onboard with Tiga’s label, Turbo Recordings. 2013 is bound to be the year where he will gain even more following and recognition.

Biographie : A journey where techno enters a land of shadows and rarefactions, escaping images, dark suggestions. Where gravity becomes a relative concept, uncertain, and where cinematic refractions count as much as the dance floor rules, in a continuous encounter/clash. It is time to get involved. After plenty non trivial satisfactions, at the end of 2013 comes the time for Federico to higher the stake: He leaves the "Clockwork" project for a solitary one. The richness of past experiences, the years in New York at heart (and in the musical and retinal education). A musical background that goes from the sharp and geometrical hip-hop of Gang Starr to the spirituality of Basic Channel's techno dub (passing through the visionaries of Radiohead and to the complex lightness of Matthew Herbert). Now, all this brings the will to give life to a new sinuous, fascinating and profound creature. "Millenium EP" 2014. Five tracks that create space. That map an itinerary. That breathe deeply.

A noter, son feeling electro tr?s pointue dans laquelle quelques reminiscense 80?s se glissent au milieu d'une rage quasi punk et gothique.
